Join Us for Our 21st Annual PPPP Bicycle Ride!

It's All About Homemade Amish Pie!

The date is July 22, 2023! We have grown too large for the Caddyshack bar so we will not have the finish party there anymore. This is a big change, but no worries! The finish Party will be at Chandler Park this year! It will be wonderful. You can still take a refreshing dip in the lake at the end of the ride and not miss a beat! We know we will have free Amish Pie and Italian sausage with super special sauce, free beer provided by New Belgium Brewery and soda and live music! We will most likely have the same routes as last year (we never know for sure due to construction, etc. until a few weeks before so check back!) Same rest stops too, including the free breakfast burritos at rest stop #1!

Pedal and Party?

Pedal and Party in Pardeeville with a Purpose (A.K.A. "PPPP") is a one day bicycle ride on the rolling Amish countryside around Pardeeville, Wis. (Pardeeville is about 35 miles north of Madison See map. (The map and more complete info are also on entry form.) We pedal our bikes on one of four route distances and then have a party at the finish at Chandler Park (new this year). We will have free beer and Amish pie and Italian sausage with super special sauce!

All of this for a mere $45! Plus 100% of the profit from the ride goes to a great cause, Multiple Sclerosis!

We have 4 Routes to Choose From!

Choose Your Route: 12, 32, 40 or 57 miles. Each loop will be well marked and have rest stops. You can download cue sheets HERE. Note, these routes may change a bit.. check here the week before the ride!

Start Times

Registration is open from 7:30 am to 9 am. Suggested start times are as follows: 60 mile at 8 am, 12, 30 and 40 mile at 9 am. We do not have a mass start, just head out when you are ready, but please don't rush, stop and smell the roses! This is NOT a race.

Not Your Average Rest Stops!

Breakfast Burritos are included... and are at the first rest stop on all routes (made with fresh eggs purchased from Amos, our Amish friend! We also have a second rest stop with snacks, water and energy drink. On the 32, 40 and 57 mile route you will find a rest stop with snacks located at Mischlers Amish Grocery Store! On the 57 mile route, there is another rest stop at another Amish Variety store (which will also be sellling delicious baked goods!) known as Stoney Acres Variety! Be sure to stop in and shop at every opportunity you can! All routes return to the first rest stop before finishing.. but alas, breakfast will be over (this is not McDonald's, we dont serve breakfast all day!)

Pedal and Party Well with Others... the Amish Community!

We love our Amish Community Friends and they love having us! But they did ask me to mention something... I know its fun to get photos of your Amish biking experience! But the Amish do not like to have their photo taken. So Please, do not ask them to pose for a photo, or take a photo of them. (A distant photo of a horse and buggy or plow is fine.) Please respect their wishes. This is why you won't see any photos of the Amish people on my website. Let's make the saying on the back of the jersey ring true! Thanks for understanding!

Can't Ride? Volunteer!

We love our volunteers! If you want to help out at Registration, at a rest stop, or help serving, or cleaning up, let us know and we can find a spot for you! If you volunteer, you can get all the perks of the ride for free.
Email Harry if you want to Volunteer! hlum@convenienceelectronics.com

This Much Fun and it's All for a Cause?

What is the Purpose we are Pedaling and Partying for? Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another. Today, new treatments and advances in research are giving new hope to people affected by the disease.
Today, there is no cure for MS, and with diagnosis occurring most frequently between the ages of 20 and 50, many individuals face a lifetime filled with unpredictability.
our friend Jane This is Jane. She has had MS for over 40 years, she does NOT Let MS Stop her! She bikes (over 2000 miles some years, and she uses only her arms), cross country skis, rock climbs, kayaks.... and she has even gone sky diving! She is inspiring! Imagine the things she could do if we could find a cure for MS! Lets keep working on finding a cure!
